One of my hobbies is riding horses, though I no longer have my own horse. Currently volunteering as an SCA Equestrian Officer, we meet roughly once a month at this facility. One of the boarders here is a fellow SCA rider and she lets us ride her extra horses.
The stable is in Arroyo Grande and is an active breeding and training barn. The filly in the main image was sired by my friend’s Arabian stallion out of a lovely Quarter Horse mare. The lighting in the barn where the babies were was really challenging, so when the images with the black background and the lighted fillies came out I was beyond thrilled. Enjoy!
